SUBMITTING ARTWORK TO US

We work with all types of artwork to create signs. We can take hand-drawn sketches, business card or letterhead, clip art pictures, or electronic files and convert them into the format needed to make a high quality image for your signs. In most cases some conversion activity is required and at the time of the price quote we will let you know just how much this conversion will cost. In some cases no conversion is necessary which will save you money and time.

When submitting artwork to Signs Unlimited please review the following guidelines:

1) The most useful electronic form is vectorized (line art) versions of logos and text. The most common file formats are .ai (Adobe Illustrator), .eps (Encapsulated Post Script) and .cdr (Corel Draw). We can work with any of these three file formats either in PC or Mac versions. When creating artwork for us please convert all text to curves and specify spot colors and gradients as PMS colors.

2) We can work with bitmaps and will advise you at the time of the price quote what will be involved with converting these files. If you are creating a file for us please make the files at least 150 dpi at full size. Higher resolution is better but anything over 300 dpi is usually unnecessary. The most common file formats for bitmaps are .jpg, .gif, .psd and .tif.

3) If no electronic version is available we can scan artwork into our systems and create the type of files we need.

You can email files to us at artwork@esignsunlimited.com. Let us know if the file is very large or you have no electronic versions and we will work out a way to get the artwork to us.
